Gogo Ndlondlo is a sangoma, a traditional and ancestral healer from the Zulu and Swazi lineage of Khuzalingezwa Emzini Wamadoda. He is living on unceded Naragansett and Wamapanaog land.

What is a sangoma?

A sangoma is a traditional healer and medicine practitioner based in ancestral wisdom and practices in Southern Africa. We can diagnose, prescribe, and perform rituals to heal a person spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. We communicate with ancestors (amadloti), work with plant medicine, use divination tools (ex: throwing bones) and use the power of ritual and ceremony to bring healing. Our training varies based on our lineage and land location.
